Hello. This hospital review is a dental review.

I had Invisalign orthodontic treatment at a place called Bubu Dental Clinic.

 

First, let me introduce you to the hospital.

Hwajeongbu Dental Clinic is located in Goyang City, and is run by a married couple, so the name of the clinic is Hwajeongbu Dental Clinic.

It's not like your average dental clinic, it's not a huge one or boasts amazing facilities. It's a small neighborhood clinic, so I remember there being two or three dental chairs inside. It was remodeled a few years ago, so the interior is clean.

Dentistry is a very old type of dentistry.

I've been going to this dental clinic since I was little, so it's been around for at least 20 years.

I don't think a long explanation is needed just because it's a dental clinic that has been in business in the same location for over 20 years without disappearing.

In the past, Sunday was the only day off, but now Thursday is also a day off.

The unfortunate thing is that since it is a local dental clinic, the clinic closes early, so it is difficult to go on weekdays.

 

 

Unlike conventional braces that use brackets and wires, this method uses a removable, transparent braces device.
It is aesthetically pleasing because it does not require any attachments, and it is more comfortable than conventional braces because it can be removed.

Invisalign can be custom-made for children, teenagers, and adults, and is worn by replacing it approximately every two weeks.

 

 

I received orthodontic treatment along with various dental treatments at this dental clinic.

The correction I had was Invisalign = Transparent Correction.

Invisalign orthodontic treatment is not a method of orthodontic treatment that is attached to the teeth, but rather a method of orthodontic treatment that is removable and can be put on and taken off.

I had malocclusion since I was young, but I wasn't interested in orthodontic treatment, so I didn't get it done. After I became an adult, I decided to get it done.

So I decided to get transparent braces instead of regular braces.

 

You wear it like this, changing it every week.

 

We take a mold of my upper and lower teeth and make a custom-made one that fits my teeth and gums perfectly.

The sunflower shape on the left in the photo is the genuine Inbijeol mark, and the one on the right is covered up because it looks like a personal serial number!

This photo was taken when I first started orthodontic treatment, so the braces in the photo are pure white, but they are bound to discolor slightly over time🥲

 

 

As the name suggests, Inbijeol doesn't show much, so I was very satisfied. The shine wasn't noticeable even from a distance.

Braces must be worn for at least 20 hours a day, and if you neglect to wear them, the treatment period will naturally be longer.

At first, it felt really foreign. But humans are creatures of adaptation, so I got used to it.

Those of you who have tried a removable retainer after orthodontic treatment know that if you forget to wear it for even one day before going to bed, the next day when you put the braces on, they feel tight on your teeth, right?

This is also the same, but if I miss even one day, my teeth feel like they're slightly turning, so I wear it diligently.

 

The director said the treatment would take one year, and could take longer depending on the condition of my teeth, but it took me a whopping two years haha

My lower teeth had a rather severe malocclusion.

Now, the correction has been completed successfully.

Even though the treatment period was longer than expected, I had no complaints because they provided me with treatment that suited my dental condition and, most importantly, there was no overtreatment!

Dental care is expensive, so this is a great advantage.
