I am unsure whether walking exercise is beneficial for arthritis patients or if it actually puts strain on the joints and is harmful. I haven't had the chance to ask a doctor because I couldn't ask, but it's been a question I've had since I was young. Generally, exercise is necessary, but since walking might put extra stress on the joints, shouldn't arthritis patients exercise more gently than healthy people? I wonder if riding an indoor bicycle is also good for health. I wish someone could clearly tell me.
