I had the same surgery (cataract) on the other side at the same hospital 4 years ago. I recovered quickly and the staff was very kind, so I was able to get treatment without much discomfort.
I have diabetes and take aspirin, so I had surgery 3 days later without taking aspirin.
It was inconvenient to have to use three different eye drops four times a day.
It was uncomfortable not being able to bathe for more than a month.
Fortunately, I was able to eat whatever I wanted without being picky about the food, so it was fine.
I'm still putting in eye drops.
