When I apply BB cream, it feels like a chewy rice cake ㅠㅠ

I applied tone-up BB cream in the morning.
It looks like a completely white glutinous rice cake, so I wiped it again.
Am I applying it too much?
Will it be okay if I tap it so it absorbs?
Someone who used to do their makeup should do it; it feels strange to start doing it now, haha.
