Drinking milk on an empty stomach can stimulate stomach acid secretion due to the calcium and casein protein in milk. This can irritate the stomach lining, so it's best to avoid it. However, be careful when consuming it on an empty stomach. Caffeine, which helps keep you awake, can strain your stomach if consumed on an empty stomach. Furthermore, it stimulates stomach acid production, which can lead to excessive acid production and heartburn.

Tomatoes should also not be consumed on an empty stomach. This is because the tannins in tomatoes can increase stomach acidity and cause stomach ulcers.
