Composed of 70% water, carbohydrates, proteins, fats, and fiber, they provide quick energy to the body. Bananas have a soft texture and a feeling of fullness, but they should be avoided in the morning. When consumed on an empty stomach, when nutrient balance is disrupted, they can increase the levels of potassium and magnesium in the blood. This can cause imbalance within the blood vessels and potentially lead to cardiovascular diseases, so caution is advised.

Tomatoes are also a food that should not be consumed on an empty stomach. This is because tannic acid contained in tomatoes can increase stomach acidity and cause stomach ulcers. The soluble astringent components and pectin in tomatoes are beneficial to our body, but if consumed on an empty stomach, they can turn into lumps that are difficult to dissolve when they meet stomach acid, potentially blocking the stomach and increasing internal pressure.
