On Wednesday the 18th, cold air from the north will move southward, causing temperatures to drop significantly and making it even colder.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 17th, the morning low temperatures on the 18th are forecasted to be between -12°C and 1°C, and the daytime high temperatures between -1°C and 7°C, which are lower than the average (minimum -9°C to 1°C, maximum 2°C to 10°C). The wind will also blow somewhat strongly, making the perceived temperature feel even colder.
Snow or rain is expected in different regions. ▲1 to 5 cm of snow is forecasted for the west coast of Chungnam, Gwangju and Jeonnam, northern Gyeongbuk eastern coast, and mid-mountain areas of Jeju Island. ▲3 to 10 cm of snow is expected on the southern eastern coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the west coast of Jeonbuk, and the inland areas of southern Jeonbuk.
It is expected to rain approximately 5mm in the western coast of Chungnam, Gwangju, and Jeonnam, and the northern east coast of Gyeongbuk. 5 to 10mm of rain is forecasted for the southern east coast and mountainous areas of Gangwon, the western coast and southern inland of Jeonbuk. 5 to 20mm of rain is expected on Jeju Island.
The sea waves will be 0.5 to 3.5 meters in the East Sea, 0.5 to 3.0 meters in the West Sea, and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the South Sea.
