Shortness of breath

I wasn't like that before, but I've been like that lately.
It's so hard to breathe.
I'm breathing so fast and deeply that my lungs hurt.
I think it happens about once every 30 seconds.
When I lie down to sleep, it becomes too difficult to breathe.
I got up in the middle and beat my chest.
