polling station staff

I worked as a polling station clerk yesterday.

From 5 AM to 6 PM.

It was my first time doing this, and I was in charge of controlling the flow of people entering from the entrance while they were standing in line to vote.

It was just as hot, and just as busy with waiting, yet some people were getting annoyed and losing their temper, while others greeted us, saying we were working hard.

I realized once again that how I accept the same situation depends on my choice.

Yesterday was physically exhausting, but it was a day where I learned a lot.
