Hello. I have been suffering from chronic constipation for a long time. The time I spend struggling in the bathroom every morning is gradually getting longer, and I am really wondering if there is a solution.
At first, I thought it was simply because of a busy daily life. Being overwhelmed with work made it difficult to have regular meals, and there were many days I couldn't even drink enough water. However, as the situation gradually worsened, I realized that this was not just a simple problem.
In my case, having a bowel movement once a week became my routine, but I knew this wasn't normal, and I didn't know how to resolve it. I tried taking laxatives from the pharmacy, but they only provided temporary relief and weren't a fundamental solution. I was also worried about becoming dependent on medication.
A colleague at work advised me to consume more dietary fiber, so I started eating oatmeal every morning, and I definitely feel a bit better. However, it hasn't been a complete solution. I also tried to drink more than 2 liters of water a day, but I have to go to the bathroom frequently, so it's not easy during work hours.
