My eyesight was excellent. I had 2.0 vision even into my 30s.
I had no idea what it felt like to have poor eyesight.
It's the same for things that no one can know unless they experience them.
Looking back now, I think I was overconfident, believing that my eyesight wouldn't worsen.
Currently in my mid-40s... I really can't see the tiny print, but I can still read things like the instructions on medication bottles in everyday life.
If you have just about 1 to 2 seconds to focus, even a tiny eye drop instruction manual can be fully visible.
However, when I have a vision test, I get visual acuity like 0.6 or 0.5.
Should I call it glare?? The light comes out on the vision test chart, so it looks blurry overall.
Therefore, things like TV captions, bus numbers, and electronic billboard texts tend to be less visible even if they are larger in size.
I'm not sure if I should just accept this as presbyopia or if I need to see another specialist.
I'm not sure what kind of test I need if a test is necessary ㅠ..ㅠ
