Is Density High ointment alone sufficient for anesthesia?

Lately, I've been feeling my facial elasticity sagging overall, so I'm planning to get a consultation for a lifting procedure. While researching various lifting options, I became very interested in Density-High because I heard it uses cooling gas to protect the skin by keeping it cold, significantly reducing pain caused by heat. Is it possible to perform the Density-High procedure without anesthesia? Or is the application of topical anesthetic necessary? If topical anesthesia is used, what is the actual level of pain I would feel? Also, if the topical anesthesia is applied, how long was it left on?
