Review of knee treatment at Centum Hospital
My right knee has been hurting for a while now.
It was getting increasingly difficult to bend, so I endured it for a few days, but since it wasn't getting any better, I visited the nearby Centum Hospital.
The facilities were clean, the scale wasn't small, and there were many patients.
After telling them I came because my knee hurt, I checked in and waited, and they told me to get an X-ray first.
I lay down, stood up, had a few X-rays taken, and had a consultation with the doctor.
After looking at the X-ray, they said there are no major issues yet, but there is fluid in my knee, so they told me to either drain it with a syringe or take medication if I don't like injections.
However, they said that medication treats slowly while injections treat quickly, so the choice is up to the individual.
Even though the injection hurts, I chose it because it works quickly, and the fluid was drained right there on the spot.
It stung when the needle went in, but it was bearable. They also prescribed a week's supply of oral medication.
After draining the fluid, the pain gradually decreased, the swelling felt like it had gone down, and bending and straightening my body became a little easier.
It is better than before after draining the fluid, but I'm not sure if the fundamental treatment is complete.
This is a review of having fluid drained and treated at Centum Hospital due to fluid buildup in my knee.
