On December 30th, I was advised to undergo surgery for a cyst on my ovary. Initially, I was recommended an oophorectomy and a hysterectomy at Cheonan Dankook University Hospital. I had difficulty deciding whether a full operation was right for me, and while I was trying several hospitals, I met Dr. Lee Je-jung at Cheonan Queen's Hospital. He didn't even mention removing my oophorectomy, but said he could keep only the cervix, without removing the entire uterus.
