Is it possible for the area injected with fillers to become more prominent over time?

At first, I thought it had settled naturally, but after a few months, I noticed some people saying that certain areas look a little more protruding than before.

I am confused whether the filler has simply moved, or if it appears that way relatively because other parts of my face have changed.

I am wondering if changes from the filler itself and changes to the entire face can have an impact together.
