How often do you usually get Botox injections?

I have been getting Botox injections for frown lines and forehead wrinkles. The results are generally good, but after getting them several times, I feel like the effect is wearing off compared to the beginning. I wonder if there are any long-term Botox users out there who are getting them without developing resistance? Should I extend the interval between injections? I'm worried about developing resistance.
