Can the effectiveness of Botox decrease if injected frequently?

I am thinking about getting Botox regularly for maintenance purposes.

However, if you get hit too often around you
I heard that it might not be as effective later on as it used to be.

Is this actually a possible story?
Or, as long as I maintain the proper intervals between treatments, do I not need to worry too much?
