How long does lip filler last?

My lips aren't that big, but they have absolutely no volume.

The face is on the larger side, but the lips seem small, so it feels like the balance is a bit off.

So these days I go around with my lips overdrawn.

Still, my lower lip is spreading out too much, so I was thinking of trying some plumping cosmetics.

But I tried using something else before, and I didn't like the stinging and tingling sensation.

I was wondering if I should get lip fillers.

I'm curious about the staying power, and also whether I'll have to keep getting it done once I get it.
