I finally got a nose job!
I went in with excitement because it was a procedure I had been thinking about for a long time.

Why did you decide to get the procedure?

 

I don't have a severe case of squint, but I was secretly worried because I have a meburi nose.

I had no desire to have surgery at all.
But if I just left it like that, it would keep catching my eye every time I took a picture, which was stressful.

 

So, after searching furiously, the place I chose was Hongdae Dermatology!
I had confidence in the director because he had handled over ten thousand cases of coping.

Arriving at the hospital & consultation

 

It is located in the Kakao Friends building at Hongik University Station, so it is very accessible.
The interior is also newly opened, so it's clean and the staff are friendly.

 

During the consultation, the director looked at my nose.
I was relieved to hear that both asymmetry and beak misalignment could be corrected.

Honestly, I thought 'Ah, this will work out' lol

 

 

Procedure

 

Wash your face and take pictures before the procedure.
I got an anesthetic injection... wow this really hurtsㅠㅠ

Tears welled up in my eyes lol But after that, I was able to hold it in.

I was holding a Ryan doll and it was secretly helpful haha

If you can't stand pain, hold on tight!

 

 

The procedure itself took about 30 minutes,
The director showed me a mirror every now and then to check the design.
I thought, 'Oh, this isn't something that's done half-heartedly.'

Appearance immediately after the procedure

 

The moment I looked in the mirror… wow, awesome.

The beak disappeared and the asymmetry was corrected.
The nose turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

 

 

It was not too high and sat naturally, so I was very satisfied.

 

There was a little bit of swelling, but it wasn't noticeable when wearing a mask, so there was no problem with daily life.
To be honest, I kept taking selfies on the way home lol

Precautions & Recovery Process

 

✔️ Washing your face/putting on makeup on the same day is possible
✔️ Avoid excessive drinking, massage, and strenuous exercise for 3-5 days
✔️ Bruising, swelling, and soreness may occur (usually subsides within a few days)
✔️ Be careful about nosebleeds for about a month

 

I felt a bit sore until the third day.
It was only slightly awkward when I smiled, but there was no major discomfort.

There was a slight bruise on the side where the wrinkles on my arms are, but it went away in a few days.

 

 

The swelling is gradually going down and settling in naturally.
I'm already looking forward to what it will look like in a month haha

 

 

Before and after comparison

 

- Side: The beak disappears and becomes smooth.
- Front: The nose bridge is neatly trimmed, making the face look slimmer.
- Even when viewed from below, the tip of the nose is still alive!
