How many days does the redness last after removing blemishes?

I am concerned about the blemishes around my cheeks, so I am thinking of getting them removed with a laser soon. I am curious about how long the redness lasts after the procedure. Since I work, I am more worried about how noticeable the results will be starting the next day than the procedure itself.

I've read online that the skin may become red and feel hot immediately after the procedure, but that it gradually subsides over time. However, it seems to vary significantly depending on individual skin conditions and the intensity of the treatment. Some people say it got better in a day or two, while others mention that the redness remained for about a week, so I'm not sure how long I should expect it to last.
