How many days does it take for the scab to fall off after removing blemishes?

I am really bothered by the blemishes around my cheeks, so I have decided to bite the bullet and get them removed with a laser. My biggest concern is the scabs that form after the procedure. Since I work, I feel a bit self-conscious about going to work with a lot of visible scabs on my face, so I am trying to decide how many days of annual leave I should take.

After doing some research, it seems the extent of scabbing and the recovery period vary quite a bit depending on the type of blemish and the laser treatment method. I've heard that some procedures result in almost no scabbing or allow for immediate return to daily life, while others cause the treated area to darken to a brownish color and form scabs that are quite noticeable for a few days. In particular, I would like to know if it is okay to go back to work the day after the procedure, or if it is better to rest for at least 3 to 5 days. I heard that red marks or hyperpigmentation can remain even after the scabs fall off, so I am not sure how much vacation time I should take when considering these factors.
