I love red meat so much that I used to eat it almost every meal as a side dish. When I was young, I ate it without knowing that my body was being damaged, but as I age and my blood pressure and blood sugar levels rise, I realize I need to be more careful. Therefore, I try to consume protein from fish or eggs rather than red meat whenever possible. I frequently eat sashimi, grilled fish, or fish sushi, and even when I go to a steakhouse, I make sure to order steamed eggs so I don't fill my stomach only with meat or rice. Adjusting my diet to obtain good nutrients is my way of managing blood sugar.
