My throat gets scratchy whenever the seasons change.

When the cold wind blows, my throat gets sore, so I always drink warm water.

Are there still people experiencing a sore throat right now??

I still feel a stinging sensation in a part of my throat.

 

I'll introduce the reasons for a sore throat during seasonal changes and suggest a good tea to drink in such cases.

 

Reasons for a sore throat during seasonal changes
1. Pharyngitis (the most basic sore throat): Pharyngitis refers to a viral sore throat. It is the most fundamental condition causing a sore throat! Pharyngitis can be classified as acute or chronic. The causes of acute pharyngitis include overexertion, bacterial infection, and temperature changes, while the causes of chronic pharyngitis include excessive smoking, alcohol consumption, and irritating foods. It is a disease that requires the most attention during seasonal changes like these days.

2. Tonsillitis: Tonsillitis occurs when viruses or bacteria infect the tonsils, causing inflammation. Tonsillitis and pharyngitis are similar, but tonsillitis often presents with more severe symptoms than pharyngitis, and may be accompanied by sudden high fever, chills, severe sore throat, headache, fatigue, and body aches.

3. Laryngitis: Laryngitis is mostly caused by infections, primarily by parainfluenza viruses. Symptoms generally include voice changes, difficulty breathing, a foreign body sensation in the throat, and a ringing cough. While sore throat and tonsillitis involve severe throat pain, laryngitis is characterized mainly by voice changes and a prominent hoarseness.

 

 

Then, what kind of tea would be good to drink in this situation?
