As I’ve gotten older, my eyes started to droop, making me look tired and gloomy, so I decided to have lateral canthoplasty this time. The nurses and doctor were all very kind and made me feel comfortable, which I really appreciated. The surgery also seems to have gone well, contrary to my worries.

After struggling with a visible silicone implant and being unhappy with the shape after my first surgery, I underwent revision surgery three years later. I was really worried about clearing out the existing scar tissue and choosing the material (my own rib cartilage), but the doctor removed the previous implant and carefully refined the contour of the tip of my nose. The residual swelling lasted a little longer than after my first surgery, but starting around the two-week mark, the bruising faded and a natural, straight-to-slightly-upturned line settled in. Most importantly, I no longer have the visible implant or the tight, foreign-body sensation I had before, so it feels comfortable. The shape was improved to what I wanted without any complications, and I’m finally free from the stress my nose caused me. Since it was revision surgery, I’m glad I took the time to carefully research and choose the right clinic.

The inside of the hospital was overall clean, and I liked that the consultation room and waiting area were separated, so I didn’t need to worry too much about others' gazes. The registration process was relatively quick, but there was a bit of wait time depending on the appointment slot. However, the staff provided guidance, so it wasn't confusing. The consultation started with checking my current condition and then explaining possible procedure options. The atmosphere wasn't overly pushy about the procedures, and I was impressed by how they explained things based on realistic outcomes rather than insisting on unconditional improvements. However, the consultation time wasn't very long, so if it's someone's first plastic surgery consultation, it might feel a bit short. I think it would help to organize your questions in advance. The explanations before the procedure were generally straightforward, and the guidance on pain or recovery periods was focused on the key points. The procedure went relatively calmly, and they checked in on my status along the way, so I didn't feel a lot of anxiety. However, the explanations about recovery care and post-procedure precautions were fairly brief, so if you want thorough management, it seems necessary to inquire further.

Hello! After much contemplation, I finally got double eyelid surgery (non-incisional + eyelid correction) and now I'm three months post-op, so I want to share my experience. Before the surgery, I often heard that I looked sleepy and had to use a lot of forehead muscle to open my eyes, which worried me about wrinkles, so I decided to visit a clinic. On the day of the surgery, I was really nervous, but thankfully there was hardly any pain except for a brief sting during the anesthesia. The doctor periodically asked me to open my eyes and carefully shaped the lines, which made me trust him. Now, I’ve been receiving lots of compliments like, “Your eyes look so clear and beautiful,” and “Your expression has become softer.” Most importantly, I can open my eyes comfortably without using my forehead, which I’m very satisfied with functionally. If you’re looking to transform your image or find it uncomfortable to open your eyes, I highly recommend you do it as soon as possible!
