Maybe because there was a lot of expectation for the surgery, I noticed a few elderly patients complaining. They say they can see everything without glasses, but still have difficulties. The medical staff kindly repeats the same explanations multiple times. My mom decided to postpone the surgery for now and got a prescription for cataract treatment eye drops.

This really makes the patient feel at ease.

The reviews for the New World branch in front of the terminal aren't bad, but this place doesn't seem to have a good reputation. It's nice that it's not crowded, and the doctor was fairly friendly. However, parking is tough, and the affiliated parking lot is also difficult to park in. I took my mother for a government-supported cataract surgery, but they unnecessarily recommended a more advanced procedure. My mother is an elderly woman who just needs to manage her daily life; she's not a working person, but they suggested inserting advanced lenses to improve her vision, which has a cost difference of almost 600,000 won for just one eye. I think I made the right choice going with the basic option for both eyes. It felt bitter, as it seemed like the hospital was trying to profit from it.
