Two of them only suggested laser treatments (which I trusted and tried, but saw no improvement), and at one university hospital, a skin professor told me, "It's not a life-threatening illness, so just live with it" - what?! Dr. Choi was not only thorough in his examination, but he was also incredibly kind. He had a warmth like a neighborhood grandfather! I was struggling as the discoloration and hives spread all over my face, but he told me that I didn't need laser treatment and didn't push for unnecessary procedures at all. He suggested I try the prescribed ointment and see if it helped. Among all the dermatologists I've met so far, he was definitely my favorite! 👍

There were a lot of people, but the nurses were nice. The anesthesia didn't take long, and the doctor was friendly too. However, it seemed like there was a lack of communication regarding the areas where anesthesia cream wasn't applied but still had laser treatment; it was tolerable, though. Removing milia using a needle was much more painful than with the laser, so I think it's better to ask for longer anesthesia. Since it was my first visit, I could only have 50 milia removed, which cost me 55,000 won. After applying DuoDerm at home and waiting a few days, I noticed some milia that hadn’t completely come out, which was disappointing. It's very affordable, so I still feel it's a good value for the money.
