I've been feeling chills since yesterday, and this morning, I just couldn't get out of bed. With typical cold symptoms like chills and muscle pain, I thought I wouldn't be able to do everyday activities like this. So, I went to the Gukganpan Kim ENT Clinic in Seongnam, which is known for its friendly service without excessive treatments. 🏥 Clinic Atmosphere and Consultation Process As soon as I walked into the clinic, the clean and organized atmosphere caught my eye. There were quite a few patients waiting, but the staff at the reception efficiently guided us, so I didn't have to wait long for my consultation. When I explained my symptoms to the doctor, he carefully checked my throat and inside my nose. Instead of just prescribing medication, he suggested that since my body is really worn out, it would be a good idea to combine it with IV therapy for a quicker recovery. It felt trustworthy because it wasn't a blanket suggestion but was tailored to my condition. 💉 IV Therapy Review I was escorted to the IV room, which was well-maintained with clean bedding, making it comfortable to lie down. I usually get nervous when there’s difficulty finding a vein, but the nurse expertly managed to get the line in without any pain, and I was really grateful for that. IV Type: I received an IV with a mix of nutrients and fever-reducing pain relief medication. Duration: It took about 1 to 1.5 hours. Environment: The lighting was soft and quiet, so I felt so comfortable during the IV that I almost fell asleep. ✨ Changes After the IV After finishing the IV, I definitely felt my body was much lighter. When I walked into the clinic, I felt like I was weighed down, but now I had a sense of energy flowing through me, and the terrible muscle pain had significantly eased up. After getting home, taking the prescribed medication, and having a good long sleep, I feel like I can finally breathe again. Once again, I realized that getting professional treatment and having an IV is the quickest way to recover from cold symptoms rather than just toughing it out. 👍 I recommend this for: Anyone looking for an ENT clinic in Seongnam that does injections well. Those who need a quick recovery from sudden cold symptoms. People who appreciate the doctor's thorough and kind explanations. One-liner: "When suffering from a bad cold, don't hesitate to pay a visit. This place satisfies both with kindness and skill!"

The reason I visited Kim Myung-jin ENT Clinic was that I was suffering from a severe cold. For a few days, my throat was sore, and I had significant nasal congestion, preventing me from sleeping well, along with fluctuating fevers that left me completely drained. Normally, I recover quickly with medication, but this time it was so bad that I decided to try IV fluid therapy and went to the clinic. From the registration desk, the overall vibe was calm, and the waiting room was tidy, so even though it was a neighborhood clinic, it felt well-managed. The nurse first asked me about my symptoms in detail, checking everything from when I started feeling unwell, whether I was experiencing fevers or dizziness, and if I was on any medications. Once I entered the consultation room, the doctor personally checked my throat, nasal passages, and ears carefully. He explained that it was not just a simple cold but also a combination of decreased stamina and dehydration, which could slow down my recovery. He mentioned that while medication could be prescribed alone, given my current condition, IV fluids would help, and he explained everything without pressure, making it feel easy to choose. I moved to the IV room, which was quiet due to separate spaces, and the bed and surrounding environment were clean. The nurse skillfully found my vein quickly without much discomfort at all. As the IV fluids flowed in slowly, I felt my body warming up and my head clearing, and the nurse periodically checked in to make sure I was comfortable, which was reassuring. I received fluids for about 40 minutes, and lying down to rest, the time didn’t feel long at all. After the IV was done, they checked my condition again and advised me to rest well and drink plenty of water, while also explaining how to take my prescribed medications in detail. On my way home, I could definitely feel that my condition was different, and by the next morning, my fever and body ache had noticeably subsided, making everyday activities much easier. It didn’t just feel like they gave me an IV and sent me on my way; it had a systematic approach from consultation to management.

<Gastroenterology Dr. Kim Won's consultation> To get straight to the point, it was the worst experience. I went to an orthopedic doctor due to swollen hands and tingling, and after blood tests, they suggested I see an internal medicine doctor because my liver enzymes and electrolyte levels were off, but it's not rheumatoid arthritis. A few years ago, my liver enzymes were high, and I saw another doctor who only did blood tests and sent me back with no special recommendations, so I went back again when the levels hadn’t improved after several years. I arrived early for my appointment, and luckily there were no other patients, so I was brought in right away. However, once I sat in the consultation room, the doctor didn’t say a word for three minutes, just typing on his keyboard. When I pointed out that he was looking at the wrong patient record, he finally checked my file but then asked why I came to him after seeing another doctor years ago, implying he didn’t want to deal with me. That visit wasn’t very satisfying, so I just gave a brief answer due to time constraints, mentioning my persistent high liver enzymes, wrist pain, and tingling hands. He cut me off, saying my hands had nothing to do with the liver, and insisted I should just have an ultrasound and blood test without listening further, dismissing my symptoms as irrelevant. It seemed like he only cared about raising his fees, ignoring the patient’s opinions and symptoms. If he had at least listened and considered running some tests, it could have been a different situation. When I pointed out that my liver enzymes were similar to before and questioned the need for more tests, he rudely said, 'This is your first time with me, so you can’t say that,' as if I was the one being unreasonable. I know how difficult it is to deal with people. Especially interacting with patients should be more challenging, yet this doctor showed a basic lack of respect for human beings. From the moment I entered the consultation room, there was no greeting. If he needed to look at my medical records, he could have at least said, 'Please wait a moment.' Three minutes of silence is not trivial. He was looking at someone else's chart, unprepared, and importantly, he didn’t seem to care about what I had to say, even with no other patients waiting. I can understand why there aren’t any patients. A doctor is someone who treats people. A doctor's words can heal a patient’s emotional wounds or, conversely, deepen them. I hope that moving forward, he listens to his patients and develops more empathy to become a good doctor.

I had an appointment yesterday and came again today. I didn't notice much yesterday, but today was the worst. There were several issues: 1. This clinic only prescribes one day's worth of medication and insists on daily visits. In most clinics, they prescribe medication for 3 to 4 days and adjust based on symptoms or switch to different medications, but here they only give a day's worth. When I said I might not be able to come because I’m busy, they insisted that I still had to come. 2. Recommendation for non-covered, detailed tests. I was diagnosed with a cold at another clinic and switched to this one. They suggested I undergo allergy tests and an in-depth examination related to my throat, recommending a 160,000 won test. They said that’s how you get accurate information, which scared me a bit and made me wonder if such a large expense was necessary. I said I’d think about it, and while I was waiting, every patient that came in was offered the same 160,000 won detailed examination. It felt like the reason they wanted me to come in late the previous day was just to encourage me to pay for these non-covered tests... 3. More expensive examination fees than other clinics. After a general examination and treatment for respiratory issues (nasal treatment) at another clinic, I would usually pay around 6,000 to 8,000 won, but here it’s always 11,000 to 12,000 won. When I tried to ask about the pricing, they just said that it included the injection and consultation fees, but I really think they should explain why the prices are like that... 4. Mandatory injections. I came in for a consultation yesterday and got an injection, and today they gave me another injection. I wondered if I was really that sick, but seeing every patient being called into the injection room made it seem like the injections are just a standard part of the treatment. When I asked what the injection was for, they said it's related to treatment, but should I really be getting injections every time I come in? 5. Unfriendly lobby nurses. This clinic has a patient registration system with a registration slip. You can fill it out on-site, but if you already had an appointment the previous day, they give you a paper. This paper is supposed to be placed in front of the nurse in the lobby for registration, but there was no guidance on that. There was an elderly person who came in for the first time and just sat there (they didn’t know how to register and probably thought they would be called). As other patients went in, this person went to ask when they would be called. The nurse answered bluntly, asking if they had registered and then said, "You should go in the order you registered. Just write it down and put it in." I understand being formal, but when someone walks in, if they don’t put their registration slip in, it wouldn’t hurt to ask them or at least explain, "Oh, you didn’t know? This is how it works," but I really felt it was very unfriendly. Overall rating: Honestly, I just feel, 'What kind of ridiculous clinic is this!' I don't think I’ll be going back again. I don’t trust this place, and there are other options available aside from this. Thank you for reading my lengthy review.

A few days ago, I started feeling a sharp pain in my throat, and it hurt a lot every time I swallowed. So, I went to the hospital. At first, I thought it was just a simple cold, but as time went on, it didn't get better, and my voice began to get hoarse, so I decided to visit an ENT clinic. After checking in and explaining my symptoms, the doctor suggested doing a laryngoscopy. I was a bit nervous at first hearing the word 'endoscopy,' but the procedure didn't take as long as I expected. After spraying a numbing spray in my nose, a thin endoscope was inserted to check inside my throat. There was a slight feeling of foreignness, but it was bearable. The examination only took a few minutes, so it was less stressful than I anticipated. The result showed laryngitis. The doctor explained that my vocal cords were swollen and inflamed, which caused the throat pain and the changes in my voice that I was experiencing. Fortunately, it wasn't serious, but I was advised that overusing my voice or eating spicy foods could delay my recovery. I was also told to drink plenty of water, rest enough, and avoid alcohol and smoking. The prescribed medications included antibiotics, anti-inflammatories, stomach medications, and cough suppressants, and I was instructed to take them three times a day after meals. There seemed to be quite a few types of medications, but the doctor explained the purpose of each one, so I felt comfortable taking them. After starting the medication, about a day later, the pain when swallowing decreased a bit, and the next day, I started to feel my voice recovering slowly. I'm not completely healed yet, but I can definitely feel that I'm getting better. Going through this experience made me realize again how important throat health is. Usually, I would just think that a minor sore throat would get better soon and ignore it, but I learned that it's important to get checked out and receive proper treatment for laryngitis early on. Especially for those who use their voice a lot or talk frequently, I think it's advisable to visit a clinic before the symptoms worsen. The hospital staff were kind and conducted the examination and consultation with care, and the laryngoscopy was less burdensome than I thought, so I was able to undergo it more comfortably than I worried about. If you're experiencing persistent throat pain, hoarseness, or difficulty swallowing, I recommend not brushing it off as just a simple cold, and getting an accurate diagnosis from an ENT. I'm also planning to diligently take the prescribed medications until they're finished and allow my throat to rest to ensure a complete recovery. Thanks to this experience, I feel that I won't take any subtle signals from my throat lightly in the future and that I need to get checked out early to manage my health well.

How much does nasal surgery cost on average?
Hello, for functional rhinoplasty, it is possible to file for reimbursement if a functional issue is diagnosed, while cosmetic rhinoplasty will incur costs. The price for nose surgery ranges from 890,000 to VAT per area, such as the tip or bridge of the nose, and there can be significant variations in costs depending on the materials used and the surgical method. We can provide a detailed cost estimate during your visit. There are options for cost adjustments through our staff, so I recommend scheduling a consultation first. :)
