I had started having a bit of a runny nose recently, and then my throat began to feel scratchy, so while searching for a hospital, I decided to visit based on a recommendation from someone I know. I was happy with the care, so I’m leaving a review. First of all, Dr. Kang Ji-heon was very kind and examined me thoroughly, which I really appreciated. He looked deep inside my nose and throat, took several photos, and showed them to me while explaining everything, so it was easy to understand. The nurses and the administrative staff were all very kind as well. The hospital was clean and much bigger than I expected. It seemed to have a sleep center too. I received inhalation treatment in the respiratory therapy room and got a prescription before leaving. I hope I get better soon, and if I ever have cold symptoms again, I’ll be coming here for ENT care.

Every time I go there, I feel that the nurses are always so kind and do their best to make sure the sick patients can wait and receive treatment as comfortably as possible. My child and I suddenly caught a cold and rushed straight to Asan Barun Internal Medicine Clinic. My child had a slight throat swelling, and I had the same symptoms but a bit worse, with a stuffy nose and a cough. Dr. Kang Dong-wook, the head physician, kindly and meticulously checked us and always explains everything in detail. I received treatment at Asan Barun Internal Medicine Clinic when I had acute pneumonia and was completely cured. Thank you, Dr. Kang Dong-wook.

This is a long-established ENT clinic in the neighborhood. It’s not that the facilities are amazing or the staff are exceptionally friendly, but our whole family has been going there regularly because we’ve always gotten better and recovered well. I think the doctor used to work at Hanyang University. When additional tests are needed, they seem to refer patients to Hanyang University Hospital. I went in with a cold, and when I go early, they catch it quickly and I get better fast without having to take medicine for long. This time, too, I went because my throat was sore from the change in seasons. Since it’s been in the neighborhood for a long time, most of the patients are regulars, and people of all ages, both adults and children, come here. My child also goes to a pediatrician, but for sore throats, colds, and nasal conditions, I definitely think an ENT is better. It’s one of the few places that stays open a little late, so it’s convenient to visit. There’s a pharmacy right next door, so it’s convenient to fill the prescription right away.

I had a flu test and a flu shot. The pain and recovery time—getting the flu test really hurt because they poke your nose, and it made me tear up. The flu shot felt like my heart was dropping when my arm was being wiped. The recovery time seems fine right after the flu test, but the flu shot hurt for about 1 to 3 days. My healthcare experience taught me that next time, I should wear a mask properly and wash my hands and whole body well. After dealing with the flu, I didn't eat much, so I checked my blood pressure and temperature, but I had no obvious symptoms. I felt like I was sick, so I went to the hospital and took the flu test, which surprisingly came back positive. It shocked me because just a day before, the flu test said I was fine, but the next day I had the flu and it really hurt.
