I used to visit regularly for my ear pain, but today I went in with a cold. I realized that I had always just gone to an internist when I caught a cold, but from now on, I’ve decided to come to the EENT clinic without question. They first checked my throat and did a stethoscope examination, which is standard, then they asked if I was experiencing nasal congestion. When I said I was, they provided additional treatment for my nose (humidifying?). They also reviewed my previous treatments and noticed that my ear symptoms had improved significantly, so they went ahead with ear treatment and cleaning even though I hadn’t mentioned it. I realized my ears weren’t completely healed, but I had neglected them because of the cold. I was really grateful for the ear cleaning. They asked about a possible injection, but after some hesitation and fear, I decided to skip it.

I've been prescribed blood pressure medication and diabetes medication. My levels are well managed with the medication.
