I visited the hospital for an appointment on the 5th. Originally, the doctor was a professor at Dong-A University, but he opened his own ophthalmology clinic, so I went for an eye check-up. From the moment I entered the 4th floor entrance, the kindness of the nurses melted my heart. After waiting, when it was my turn, the doctors in charge came out to the waiting room to call me in, which was impressive and reassuring. After the exam, I waited and had a consultation and treatment with Professor Kwon (the specialist), which felt so comforting and stable. The sense of closeness from the nurses to the doctors made me feel like I could trust them. I have another regular check-up in 6 months, and I’m looking forward to it. The location is on Line 1, exit 13 at Seomyeon Station; after passing Shinhan Bank, walk about 10 meters towards Choeup. It’s on the 4.5th floor of a 6-story building.

I received treatment from Dr. Kim Jae-wook. I visited because I was experiencing discomfort and pain in my ear. He put some medication in my ear and prescribed some medicine as well. The pain was really intense, and I had a tough time throughout the weekend, but I felt secure receiving treatment since he was very thorough. I got a prescription for three days' worth of medication, and I also received medicine to put in my ear. I hope to get better soon. The inside of the hospital felt clean and well-organized. When I returned after three days, I was hoping to be pain-free, and I think I need to take good care of myself to avoid fatigue. Even just speaking feels tight in my ear. This is where my father has been receiving regular outpatient treatment for a stroke. All the doctors and staff are very kind and seem to work hard to provide treatment. It also seems like they have reduced hours even on substitute holidays, which I think is good. The treatment room isn't huge, and since they operate by appointment, it's not as noisy as a rehabilitation hospital, so I think it's a good place where you can focus on treatment. There are always kind nurses and doctors here. They examine you very carefully, are good at identifying illnesses, and even refer you to larger hospitals when needed. They are truly dedicated doctors. We’ve been coming here since the kids were little. I think we’ve been regular patients for over a decade. They’re still just as kind as ever, although the wait can sometimes be long because there are so many patients. The clinic is also kept quite clean. They even identified the rare condition Meniere’s disease for us. Whenever one of us—child or adult—has symptoms of BPPV or comes down with tonsillitis, we go straight to Refreshing ENT. It seems like you can recover more quickly if you go in at the early stage. They prescribe medication well, so we seem to get better quickly. They also thoroughly disinfect the nose or inside of the mouth, and explain everything in a really calm and detailed way.

When I ask for documents to submit my medical expense insurance claim, they provide them neatly, and they guide me so that I can comfortably schedule my next appointment, which I appreciate. I hope I don’t have to be sick, but if I do, I believe choosing a good hospital is important.

I suddenly started feeling uncomfortable in my throat since yesterday with a runny nose and a bit of a cough, so I rushed to Joo Eung-rae ENT Clinic. There were two nurses at the desk, and as soon as I walked in, they greeted me with big smiles, which made me feel really good. After a short wait, I received treatment. The doctor's soft voice was really soothing. They disinfected my throat and cleared up my runny nose, which made me so much more comfortable. After the treatment, I sat in front of the throat treatment equipment, opened my mouth and said 'Ah,' and when I was done, that was the end of my visit! The treatment was very neat and satisfying. After settling the bill, I went down to the first floor and found the pharmacy right there, so I didn’t have to walk around too much, which was great. I highly recommend Joo Eung-rae ENT Clinic, right across from Daegu Gu Daeyoung Academy.

I visited because of a burn, and even though there were many burn patients in winter, the clinic provided quick consultations and treatments. They personally gave me skin regeneration ointment to apply, and I was especially moved by the nurse who injected me painlessly. I also learned that the best time to come for treatment is after lunchtime (1:00 PM to 2:00 PM) when it’s less crowded. Plus, it's convenient that there's a pharmacy right next door on the same 8th floor. It turns out that there are many burn patients in winter. It's frustrating that I got burned in two places while using hand warmers at my cold job, but I'll have to be more careful in the future.

Also, there were more nurses than the doctor, surprisingly... Still, both the doctor and the nurses were quite friendly. The treatment did hurt a bit. However, they explained my condition throughout, which made me feel reassured. While waiting for the consultation, I noticed many elderly patients coming in~~~

I had been experiencing pain and sensitivity on my right molar that I had treated some time ago, so I visited the clinic again after a long time... They told me I needed to undergo nerve treatment three times, which made me really scared and I was in a lot of pain....😢 After completing all three nerve treatments, I had a temporary tooth for about a week while they monitored my condition. The doctor who treats me is very gentlemanly and kind. The prescribed medication usually works well for me. I’ve never had any side effects, and I could go back to my daily activities right away. It seems they often have other promotions or discounts, so it might be helpful to check those when you visit. Since it’s a large franchise clinic, there are many other treatments available, offering a wide range of options. Everyone, please do your research and find good treatments!

For regular check-ups, they first did the scaling and assessed the overall condition. They found that the bone was protruding at the end of the lower right molar, so when I closed my mouth, my upper teeth were irritating the lower teeth, leading them to recommend Botox. Additionally, there was inflammation around the implant of the lower right molar, so I needed gum inflammation treatment twice. They always explain how it's best to proceed before treatments, which makes me trust them and come back to the clinic for a long time. If I go in with a lot of pain, both the pain and costs can be substantial, but with regular check-ups and treatments, I can prevent pain in advance and save on costs, which I think is a good thing.

I arrived earlier than my appointment time, and I was able to get the procedure done right away without waiting. There were a lot of staff members, and many of them were foreigners. Unlike dermatology clinics in the past where the staff would wear uniforms, now they interact in casual training outfits, which is more relaxed. They also check precautions by scanning a QR code. It seemed like assistants in the clinic were not nurses, but rather part-time workers? There were also quite a few young male staff members. As for the Botox itself, it’s hard to say how it will turn out with time, but they made sure it wasn’t too painful.

Despite the situation being difficult since my child was a bit uncooperative during the examination, the doctor remained calm and handled everything well. While trying to replace the doorstop, I crouched down to work and, as I was getting up, I hit my forehead hard against the doorknob and ended up with a big scrape. At first, the wound was more red, deep, and long than I expected, so I was really worried. I had a really bad burn on the back of my hand from work before, and the doctor treated that so well that even after several years, I’ve been doing fine without any scars.
