Before starting the actual scaling process, they took before-and-after photos with the hospital's own camera, and Dr. Kang Nam-won thoroughly checked the inside of my mouth, examining my gum condition and looking for cavities, giving me a comprehensive oral check-up. The scaling process was very meticulous, and they cleaned out the plaque and tartar nicely. Since I drink coffee every day, I was particularly worried about the discoloration of my teeth, but I’m quite satisfied because it seems like the scaling alone improved the color of my teeth to be noticeably brighter without needing any separate whitening treatment. I also appreciated that they explained the parts that were covered by insurance, which made me feel they were very considerate in helping me access medical benefits.
