I visited Sangnam Goun Dermatology because I was worried after burning my leg. At first, I was in pain, and the wound looked worse than I expected, so I was very concerned that it might leave a scar. Seeing it gradually improve with treatment put my mind at ease, and I took good care of it as the hospital instructed. After receiving consistent treatment, it has recovered a lot, and I’m relieved that it turned out better than I had feared. I was also very satisfied with how thorough the treatment was.

I was hospitalized before and received outpatient treatment afterwards. Let me compare the two experiences a bit. First of all, it was nice that this hospital offers both Western and traditional medicine, which made hospitalization pleasant, but I found the hospital fees to be a bit on the expensive side. The costs for prescriptions and injections felt relatively high. Even though both Western and traditional medicines were available, I ended up taking a lot of Western medicine. There wasn't any pressure to use traditional medicine, but it is a bit pricier. When I was hospitalized, I was prescribed medication to boost my immunity, which was really expensive. The nurses were very kind and gave injections well, although there seemed to be a lot of injections prescribed during my stay, which added up in costs. But since they were necessary, I thought it was fine to receive them. During the outpatient treatment, I mainly received manual therapy and acupuncture. The manual therapy costs 200,000 won per hour, which isn't cheap, but it was effective, and acupuncture was okay. By the end of my hospitalization, I noticed some patients resting on those massage chairs, but I didn't get a chance to try it out and just took pictures instead. The facilities are nice.

While looking for lip fillers, I stumbled upon a review for I Wanna Be Clinic. I was surprised to see that Dr. Jo was back, and after reading the detailed reviews, I realized that he was well-known for fillers. I made a reservation through Naver for the earliest date possible. (It's so convenient to book through Naver compared to calling to schedule.) The clinic was located in a department store (on the 4th floor of a hotel building), so parking was super easy. They even informed us which gate to enter and where to park, which was really helpful. The clinic looked small from the outside, but it was spacious inside, and the view was nice too. The most important part was the procedure... When Dr. Jo came in to do the treatment, he was very handsome, and he meticulously administered the fillers and Botox. Botox treatments can often be rushed at other places, but here, Dr. Jo explained where he would inject and how many, which was really thoughtful. I'm very satisfied with the filler as well. After the procedure, I felt absolutely perfect and had nothing to worry about. (At another place, my previous filler was so asymmetrical that I had to do a lot of correction at home, but here it's like heaven...) Unless a natural disaster occurs, I’m sticking with this clinic. I bet he does great on other treatments too.

My chest was feeling really tingly, so I decided to visit after seeing the new opening. When I had my appointment before, I was told that I could only get an ultrasound at this place and that I had to get other imaging done somewhere else, or the opposite. But here, everything is possible, which is so convenient! 👍🏻 I saw some micro-calcifications, so I had to get additional magnified images, which made me nervous, but the doctor and the nurses explained everything so thoroughly, I'm really grateful! 😍 The waiting room, consultation room, examination room, and treatment room were all super comfortable~ Above all, it's been a while since I've seen a dressing room that's this nice. There were patients here and there, but it was nice that the flow of appointments didn't overlap to the point where we noticed each other. To be honest, when you're just in a gown for a breast exam and surrounded by strangers, it can be a little embarrassing 🫣, but it felt really quiet and private for me, which I loved! 🙈 Fortunately, they explained that I only need follow-up tests, which eased my mind as I left. 👋🏻 I’ll be back in a few months for follow-up tests at this breast surgery clinic. I developed red, raised hives around my arms and neck, along with severe itching, so I visited a dermatology clinic. During the consultation, I explained when the symptoms first appeared and what situations made the itching worse, and the doctor closely examined the rash on my skin. They compared the swollen, reddened areas with the surrounding skin to check how far the rash had spread and assess my skin condition. I was also asked about foods I had recently eaten, any new cosmetics I had used, and whether I was taking any medications. After the consultation, I was told what to watch out for when the hives appeared and how to take the prescribed medication. I was also advised not to touch or scratch my skin as much as possible because it could make the irritation worse. I suffered from the flu for 2-3 days before going to the hospital. I thought I was better since my fever went down, but I felt tired even just sitting at work, so I ended up at the hospital. The fever was still there, and the doctor said I should be more cautious since it's a season for a lot of viruses and prescribed IV fluids and medication. After the IV, my fever went down, and my runny nose and cough lessened. It's been a day, so I'm still feeling a bit sluggish and my appetite hasn't returned, but I think I'll be fine by tomorrow.

I used to wake up with a dull ache around the jaw joint below my ear every morning, and my jaw would click when I opened my mouth, so I got worried that it might be something serious and went to a dental clinic. After I arrived, they took an X-ray, and the dentist checked the angle at which I could open my mouth and how tight the muscles were. Fortunately, there was no problem with the bones themselves. When I went to pay after finishing all the treatment, the total, including the X-ray, came to just over 80,000 won, so it wasn't a financial burden. After I got home, I applied the warm compresses as instructed, and the heavy pain and stiffness around my jaw completely went away. I felt so relieved. I remember being very satisfied because they provided exactly the care I needed without any unnecessary treatment.

At the end of May 2024, I had to suddenly get dental treatment while visiting my son's house in Canada, since it was the dentist my husband was going to.

The extracorporeal shockwave therapy seems to have good outcomes; I'm undergoing shoulder treatment and sometimes I feel like crying from the pain, but I’m also hopeful about the results. The hospital environment is clean, and weekend consultations are very convenient.

I had underarm laser hair removal, and it was kind and fast. As soon as I entered, they proceeded right away and kindly explained the aftercare, which I liked. It's close to my home, so I come here every time I need to go to the dermatologist! Even after just one session, I felt like a lot of hair was gone! At first, I had something like acne on my back, and when I squeezed it a little, white lumps would come out. Eventually, they grew to about the size of a small stone, and when I wore thin clothes, they would stick out, so I decided to get treatment and visited the hospital. The person at the desk, wearing different clothes, fumbled with the appointment confirmation, and I was uneasy going into a consultation with them. As expected, they gave a consultation that a regular person could understand, so why did I even go in for a consultation? There was a lot of unnecessary explanation, and the parts I wanted to discuss were left unresolved. I wouldn't recommend this at all. They don't seem professional, so why do they even offer consultations? Although I was satisfied with the procedure since that person isn't the one performing it, I heard that my friend went to the manager next to the desk, so I think I should see that manager next time.

Maybe because of the big temperature swings between morning and evening, I woke up with a scratchy throat, a stuffy nose, and a headache. I had to go to work, so I went to a hospital near my home. Since I had been going there for a long time, the doctor kindly checked my throat and told me that my tonsils were swollen, so I should drink water frequently. I also felt like I was coming down with the flu, so I got an intramuscular injection in my buttock and took the cold medicine that was prescribed. The pharmacist explained that I should take it after meals and that it might make me sleepy and cause dry mouth.^^

With the big day finally just around the corner, I agonized over it and finally went in for my first All Tight treatment! To be honest, before the wedding, I was being careful even with the smallest treatments, and I was really worried that it might hurt or irritate my skin. But to get straight to the point, it was so refreshing and comfortable that all my worries felt completely unnecessary. The best part was that I didn’t feel any pain at all throughout the treatment. I have sensitive skin and tend to be easily irritated, but they took such careful care of me without causing any pain that I was able to relax and enjoy the treatment. Since this was only my first treatment, I’ll have to wait a little longer to see any dramatic, noticeable changes. But when I looked in the mirror afterward, my facial contours definitely looked more defined, and my complexion seemed clearer, which has me really excited. If I keep going regularly during the time I have left before the wedding, I think I’ll be able to walk down the aisle feeling much more confident in my dress. I really hope the results start showing soon so I can have the best condition of my life on my wedding day!

So even though I made a reservation the day before, I ended up waiting a while. After the consultation, I waited to see the doctor and then decided whether to proceed with the mole removal treatment. They applied the numbing cream and I waited. After about twenty minutes, I went in for the procedure, which wrapped up in less than five minutes, and they explained the aftercare instructions. I got the mole removed at a very cheap price due to a promotional offer. While I was there, I also had an issue with my nails, so I got that checked out too.

I had treatment for my gum. It was for the gum around my lower right molar. The doctor, as always, did a neat job. It was a bit stingy when they applied the anesthetic, but I was expecting some pain since gum treatments usually hurt. After rinsing my mouth out a couple of times, the treatment was done. The nurse at reception was always kind and friendly, whether I was making an appointment or checking out. Next time, I should take some photos of the inside of the clinic to share.
