Since it was my first visit, they started with a panoramic X-ray, and then the dentist checked my overall oral health. When I said I was there because of bad breath, they also tested how severe it was. First, the dentist explained that my old bridge prosthesis had cracked, allowing bacteria to build up between it, which was probably causing the bad breath. They said they would remove the bridge and make a new one if there was no secondary decay in the teeth, but if there were any problems, I would need dental implants. Luckily, there was only an issue with the prosthesis, so we decided to replace it. I had impressions taken for the new dental prosthesis and went home. I also had a temporary prosthesis attached. Both the dentist and the dental hygienist were kind, and I really appreciated how they took care to make sure I wasn’t in pain.
