After the injections, my jaw area felt a bit numb, and the area where I got the contouring injection swelled up and felt tight, but since they explained everything during the consultation, I felt reassured that the injections were effective. As I age, I'm stressed about my jawline, and I'm hoping that getting this Botox will help it shrink a little.

[Mole Removal / Glabellar Botox / Shurink / Lip Filler Review] When they were applying numbing cream before the Shurink treatment, they didn’t apply any to my glabella, so I asked, “Aren’t you going to apply it to my forehead?” The staff member told me, “We cool the forehead with ice before the treatment.” But after the Shurink was over, when I got my Glabellar Botox, they injected me right away without any ice cooling. After the treatment, I said, “You said you were going to use ice, but you didn’t,” and all I heard in response was, “We’ll pay more attention next time.” Even after the Shurink was finished, no one came to wipe off the gel. I waited for quite a while, then ended up cleaning myself up and leaving. The Lip Filler was disappointing as well. Even though the procedure was done with a needle, they didn’t apply any numbing cream separately. When I asked about it, they said, “The filler contains an anesthetic ingredient, so we don’t normally apply numbing cream.” Most hyaluronic acid fillers contain a small amount of lidocaine. Both Korean-made and imported products contain a small amount. However, I think that only helps reduce the pain as the filler is injected; it’s separate from the pain of the needle piercing the skin in the first place. That’s why I feel clinics that use numbing cream are more considerate. (Most factory-style clinics apply numbing cream, and you can see this with just a Naver search.) There had been another time when they said they would use ice but skipped it, so this time I asked again whether they could apply numbing cream at least while I was waiting. They told me to leave the treatment room, and while I was waiting outside, they said the director wouldn’t authorize it and told me, “If you’re uncomfortable with us not applying numbing cream, cancel the payment.” I wasn’t asking for a refund. I had only asked whether they could apply numbing cream, so I was dumbfounded that the conversation went in that direction. After that, I had to keep going in and out of the treatment room, so the whole process was far from smooth. What surprised me even more was that they didn’t apply any antibiotic ointment after the treatment either. Of course, each clinic may have its own approach, but most of the dermatology clinics I’ve visited so far provided basic aftercare, so I was extremely disappointed. (*Antibiotic ointment costs 3,000–5,000 won at pharmacies.) -Evaluation of the procedures themselves Botox: Just okay. Lip Filler: The aesthetic result wasn’t great. If you have a particular shape you want, I strongly recommend bringing reference photos. Shurink: It didn’t feel like they were treating the face carefully while keeping the device closely in contact with the skin. I have a sunken area beside my cheek (for example, at the Sangam branch), and at other clinics they’ve often checked these areas first, marked them with a pen, and avoided them during the treatment. At the Magok branch, they proceeded without checking, and overall I felt they lacked both technique and a sense of aesthetics. I’ve been to most of the factory-style clinics, including several well-known ones, but I don’t think all clinics offer the same level of quality. Even when they use the same equipment, there can be a significant difference in how they treat patients, their technique, and the aesthetic results. It’s important to attract customers with opening promotions, but ultimately, I think repeat visits depend on the quality of the service and satisfaction with the treatment. Personally, I have no intention of going back. Unless the prices were extremely cheap, at the level of an opening promotion, I don’t think I’d return. I hope a large, competitive factory-style dermatology clinic opens in Magok soon.

Felix Clinic used to be Abijoo Clinic~ I've been a regular since then, and that was in 2020~ It's a bit inconvenient to park since it's located in Bupyeong (the building has mechanical parking so SUVs can't park), but the reason I continue to go is because I'm satisfied! Back then, there were several doctors and some were good while others weren't so great. But the front desk staff and the treatment room nurses are super friendly! My husband and I get Botox every 5 to 6 months without fail, and I've never been unhappy with the treatment! I actually tried Botox at another dermatology clinic, but it wore off in a day or twoㅜㅜ When I reached out to them, they said it wasn't their responsibility.. but Felix offers a touch-up within a month! They are responsible! And since they changed to Felix, everything has gotten better! I can really feel their kindness in the KakaoTalk consultations too! My favorite doctor, Dr. Jo Jeong-yong, runs the clinic on his own, so any treatment I get is done by him~! He is incredibly kind and always asks how I felt before the treatment. I really appreciate having such a responsible doctor! Also, it's strange, but when Dr. Jo does my Botox, it seems to last longer^^;; Today, after 5 months, my husband and I went together for Botox, and he is even more satisfiedㅎㅎ He especially felt a big difference after getting Botox on his forehead and jawlineㅎㅎ As for me, I don't have much to say~! The design for the incisional upper eyelid procedure took just 30 minutes, and the surgery was completed after about 2 hours. As the anesthesia wore off, I had a small bandage and some swelling above my eyes. The doctor advised me to frequently use ice packs, which he provided from the freezer, for cold compresses. A week after the surgery, the day I had my stitches removed, I was warmed by the clearer look of my eyes and the softness of my expression reflected in the mirror. Although there was still quite a bit of swelling, my eyes felt much lighter, and the wrinkles on my forehead and between my brows were lessened, making my entire face feel brighter. It's amazing how such a small change can bring so much joy; it's a day I’m particularly grateful for.

After 6 months, I visited again, but I found out that my doctor had left and only one director was handling everything. When I was receiving the injection, it felt like the method was different. When I asked, the doctor said it was better this way, so I went along with it. However, a few days later, my eyes felt heavy and it was hard to open them, which was really strong. It turned out one of my eyes was almost half-closed, and I had to cancel nearly all my appointments. People kept asking if I was sleepy or in pain, and more importantly, I couldn't see clearly, which made me really suffer for a month. When I confronted the clinic, they said it was due to the Botox and would eventually go back to normal, but I couldn't live like that, so I strongly protested. They told me that an additional treatment to remove the Botox would help it return to normal quicker. I then received high-frequency therapy once a week for about five sessions and felt a bit better after that. It took over a month, but about 70% of my vision returned, and after three months, my eyes returned to normal. During the treatments, I was told that the way they administered the skin Botox might have caused the issue. But why would they do that when I came in for wrinkle Botox? On top of that, they made it sound like it wasn't a big deal while saying the treatments they provided were expensive, which was quite absurd. The nurses at the clinic's front desk are seriously unfriendly. I had also complained to the doctor during my consultation, but there wasn't much in the way of corrective action. It was my fault for proceeding since I was only going in for a consultation. I think it would be better to avoid this clinic. The one doctor seemed really busy, and I remember seeing Chinese patients too. While they did provide treatment, so I wouldn't say they completely lack a conscience, based on the kindness and professionalism of the medical staff, it didn't feel like a really good clinic.
