I went for my Botox treatment as it was about that time. Luckily, it was during the Coretox promotion, so I got it done on my forehead and between my eyebrows. I received the treatment from a female doctor who was calm and did a great job.

The doctor explained everything well, and the staff were very kind too. I got Botox treatment, and my frown lines have definitely been reduced. It also works well on the muscles that lift my eyebrows and forehead.

I naturally have fairly strong jaw muscles, so when I took pictures—especially under side lighting(?)—my face looked square, which really stressed me out. It felt like the needle was going in deep, so there was a brief sharp “ouch” feeling, but it was over in a few seconds. The forehead and frown-line injections just felt like little pinpricks. When I looked in the mirror right afterward, there was nothing visibly different, but my jaw felt a little heavy and sore. That evening, eating felt slightly strange lol. Chewing gum felt different from usual, so I thought, “Oh, I really did get the injections,” and the next day, my jaw felt a little weaker when I ate hard foods. (For example, I couldn’t chew things like squid as well as usual.) I started noticing the effects after about 5–7 days, and by around two weeks, my jawline looked noticeably softer. Before, the angle of my jaw stood out clearly in selfies, but now it just tapers down in a more rounded way. With my forehead and frown lines, the wrinkles don’t crease as deeply when I make expressions, so my makeup looks much cleaner. I especially noticed that my foundation settles into the lines much less. It’s been about a month now, and a few people around me have asked if I lost weight. But when I tell them I got Botox, everyone says things like, “It looks really natural—you can’t even tell,” and that’s what I’m happiest about. The downsides were that my chewing strength was slightly weaker at first, and my jaw felt a little awkward when I yawned widely. But after two or three weeks, I had pretty much adjusted. It wasn’t seriously uncomfortable or anything. Overall, I think it’s a good option for people who don’t want an overly dramatic change and just want to refine their facial contours naturally. I was hesitant at first too, but now I understand why people keep getting it regularly.

At the end of November, I had lower eyelid surgery along with Botox for my frown lines and forehead wrinkles. I regret not doing it sooner. I'm planning to get regular treatments from now on.

Wow, I didn't know there was a place like this in Yeongdeungpo. I used to go to Tox & Fill, but I didn't like it, so I went to Mokdong instead. Maypure Clinic is affordable and systematic, so I’ve been going there for several years. This time, I visited for an Aqua Peel and Forehead Botox treatment. The Gasan Digital branch opened recently, so it was clean, and even though it was a weekday afternoon, quite a lot of people were visiting. The Aqua Peel is for cleaning the pores, and they paid extra attention to the nose area, where sebum tends to build up, while carefully treating the entire face. Afterward, they applied vitamin cream, regenerative cream, and sunscreen, which left my skin feeling soft and nice. I decided to get Forehead Botox because I had developed wrinkles, probably from my habit of frequently raising my eyebrows. I held a cooling stick against my forehead, and then the doctor came in and performed the treatment very carefully. They also explained the precautions, and everyone was so kind overall, which I really liked.
