Regarding the procedure, No matter how much numbing cream I use, laser hair removal is inevitably painful, and it does hurt quite a bit. However, at Maypure Taepyeong, they really seem to work quickly and meticulously to minimize the pain. The session time is short, which makes it less of a burden, and they do a thorough job without missing any spots. I can definitely feel that the hair is decreasing with each session, but since my beard roots are really thick, I think I need about 5 more sessions.ㅠㅠ As for the perks, there was a benefit where if you add their KakaoTalk channel, you could get an additional session of upper lip or underarm hair removal as a bonus. I'm not sure about that now though;; I came in today as well, and I can definitely say there's been more hair loss compared to the 6th session. However.... I feel like I’m going to have PTSD from having to come in more in the future..

Additionally, the prescription for medication cannot be deducted from the pre-paid amount; they force you to pay extra, and recently they've been charging double under the guise of consultation fees. I've never seen a dermatology clinic run like this in my neighborhood.

I've had it done several times, but the Gangnam location does a great job. The Aqua peel was done with two substances, and they applied it twice on my face. It's been three months since I got Botox for my forehead, around my eyes, and on the bridge of my nose, but it feels like it's starting to wear off, so I got Botox again. It stings a bit because it's an injection, but it's bearable. For the spots with freckles, I had anesthesia applied, and that took more than 10 minutes... It hurt a bit, but it was manageable.

On the 13th floor, you hand in your paper at the desk, put your belongings in a locker, and wait for a little while. When the staff call your name, they guide you to a bed. Everyone is kind, but I don’t really like that the doctor keeps changing. It would be nice if the same doctor could treat me consistently, since the laser intensity and treatment depend on your skin condition, so that part was a little disappointing.
