I went in for Laser Hair Removal for the first time in a while. I made the appointment through Naver and was able to go in the same day. Since they were originally thorough and kind, I was thinking about extending my treatment, but today I saw a doctor I’d never met before and was so disappointed that I don’t plan to go back. The other doctors would use the laser at least twice on each area, but today’s doctor just did one quick pass and left. They didn’t carefully treat the area from top to bottom either—they just randomly zapped here and there, which was really disappointing. And even though there weren’t many people, the place still felt chaotic. I had been satisfied because it seemed better than the Hongdae branch, so it’s a shame... The Laser Hair Removal wasn’t painful. The location is good since it’s in the busy part of Myeongdong.

I thought it would be better to go to a place I’m familiar with and satisfied with rather than a completely new clinic. Since it’s about hair removal, I figured it’s best to go to a trusted place, and indeed, all the nurses were friendly, explained everything well, and I felt comfortable during the procedure :) I prepaid for 5 sessions but have only had one so far, and the results are amazing!? They say you need at least 3 sessions to really see the effects, but I could already see a difference after the first session, which was wonderful. I’ll see how the other 5 sessions go, and if I still feel it’s not enough, I might get more done, haha.

They did the laser toning and Genesis toning meticulously, and I think I’ll need to pay for 5 sessions of toning next time too. They also did the Botox carefully, and it was such a satisfying visit that I plan to keep going back.

I visited Yeongdeungpo Vance Clinic to get an Aqua Peel and Laser Hair Removal! I made time on the weekend because I wanted to get some Skin Care and hair removal done, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean the facilities were and how well everything seemed to be maintained. I liked the place from the moment I arrived. The interior was comfortable, and the staff explained everything in an organized way, so even though it was my first visit, I was able to receive the treatments comfortably without any major inconvenience. I was also happy with the Aqua Peel because it left my skin feeling clean and refreshed, and I liked that they performed the Laser Hair Removal so carefully. Also, since I visited on the weekend and could take my time with the treatments, it helped relieve the fatigue that had built up, and it felt like I was getting a little time to relax and recharge before heading home, which was really nice haha.

To book a hair removal appointment for a desired date, you need to make a reservation weeks in advance. Facility review: It's right in front of Nowon Station, so it's easy to access by subway. There are about 8 parking spots behind the building, but it's almost always full during weekdays. If the lot is full, parking in the public lot in the front alley provides a one-hour parking fee reimbursement from the clinic.

I paid for an annual Brazilian hair removal package (once a month). It seems the doctor in charge is a female doctor, and it doesn't look like you can request a specific doctor. The laser is a GentleMax Pro. It feels a little hot and stings a bit, but the treatment itself only takes about 1–2 minutes, so it's tolerable. Compared to the Apogee Elite Plus I had used at another clinic, it seems to be a more powerful laser, so it hurts a bit more but is also more effective. The clinic itself is clean, and since they have so many hair removal patients, their management system seems well organized. The changing room has three rooms, so there's plenty of space, and each room has soothing gel to apply after the laser treatment, so you can put it on comfortably afterward. There are also three sinks and a Dyson in the powder room.

My under-eye area was itchy for a few days and suddenly turned red, so I visited the hospital. They said it looked like a cosmetic allergy and prescribed me some ointment. The doctor is kind and very thorough. I had Laser Toning, Laser Genesis Toning, and hair removal done, and the prices are really affordable. Since it’s also close by, I’m planning to keep coming back for regular toning treatments. Because the prices are low, I do have to apply the soothing cream myself, but that’s fine too.

They didn't just explain the costs and sessions; they took the time to explain how laser hair removal works to destroy hair roots in a way that was easy to understand. Once I grasped the principles behind why multiple sessions are necessary due to hair growth cycles like anagen, catagen, and telogen, I felt a lot more confident about the treatment. The downside is that even with a reservation, there's a bit of a wait time.

The number of sessions offered at this price was reasonable, so I started and have been consistently attending. Early on, I received treatment with Apogee, and overall, the pain wasn’t overly burdensome, and the care was clean, providing satisfaction. Since the 8th session, I have switched to Gentle ProMax laser for an additional charge of 11,000 won. Although Apogee was fine, I learned that the Gentle ProMax gives better hair removal effects, which influenced my choice. After experiencing it, I felt the treatment times were faster and seemed to be more thorough, so I’m pleased so far. I have continuously received Gentle ProMax after the 8th session, and generally, the care has been friendly and the booking system relatively convenient, making it easy to continue visiting. I plan to keep monitoring the effectiveness of the hair removal with the remaining sessions. Overall, I feel this is a decent package for the price.

I came in for Laser Hair Removal for women! Since I was already here, I also paid for Pico Toning on the areas being treated to get rid of the Hyperpigmentation at the same time!! I was worried because there aren’t many reviews of Laser Hair Removal for women, but it was done quickly and didn’t hurt at all 🫡 Until the day I’m smooth and fuzz-free!!! I originally came in thinking about both treatment and diet counseling, and everything was really well organized. They didn’t just push medication—they also asked about my lifestyle and eating patterns. I felt even more reassured when I heard that the head doctor had personally experienced losing weight too. I’m glad I came instead of trying to do it all by myself from the beginning. The clinic is so pretty, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the doctor was very thorough with the procedures. The acne inflammation injections are very cost-effective. But here, they do Brazilian waxing by area. They do the triangle area separately, the perineum separately, and the anus separately. I feel like it's more expensive compared to other chain dermatology clinics. And the laser hair removal doesn't take long at all, it's pretty quick and not painful. It's best to try it once before committing to a multi-session package. Honestly, getting a recommendation from a friend is the best way to go, as different dermatology clinics vary greatly in how thorough they are with hair removal. Personally, I think it's best to get hair removal done at a place where both doctors are a couple or at a clinic with only two doctors to avoid inconsistencies. Also, if you go on the weekend, be prepared to wait. I waited over 30 minutes. To avoid a long wait, it's best to go an hour to an hour and a half before closing. Alternatively, if you go on weekday evenings, there's usually not much of a wait. I think I waited about 10 minutes? Then they called me in.
