It's been 4 days now, and although my beard has grown back, it seems like it’s a bit less than before. The hair hasn’t fallen out yet, but I plan to shave this evening. They advise to shave the morning of the treatment day or the evening before and not to pluck any hair, so it might be good to keep that in mind. I went in not knowing and ended up plucking a few hairs on my cheeks and neck that day.

I've tried just about every hair removal laser out there, and I can't say that the GentleMax is more painful or irritating. However, it does seem to have a quicker hair removal effect. The treatment intervals don't have to be exactly four weeks; I've been able to schedule my initial six sessions at two-week intervals, and then the remaining four sessions can be done at four to six-week intervals, so it's convenient to finish treatments quickly.
