This is my ninth session of beard laser hair removal. I had laser hair removal at two other dermatology clinics before, but the coarse hairs never completely went away. I heard GentleMax was good, so I started traveling all the way to Gangnam, and surprisingly, it became clean right away. These days, the hair starts growing back little by little after about a month or two following the treatment. I still have five sessions left, so I’m hoping it will disappear completely if I keep going.

There’s a stuffed animal next to you, and if you squeeze the life out of it, the pain becomes a little more bearable, lol. The pain seems to ease a bit if you get a massage after the hair removal. I’d recommend getting a massage afterward.. I don’t know the doctor’s name, but whoever you get, they’re all friendly. They also do an ice massage, and that makes the pain a little easier to endure. When I look in the mirror, I feel kind of proud, but I’m also worried about folliculitis. lol After applying ice for a while, they tell you to throw the ice pack in the trash and go home. I’m terrified to come back, but I don’t have a choice.. I have to come back again, sob sob..

When the heat feels intense, I can ask for an ice pack and they’ll bring one out for me. The prices are also the most reasonable, so I plan to keep coming here regularly even though it’s far away.

The prices are really reasonable, and I can make appointments flexibly, which is super convenient. They even have appointments available until late afternoon on Saturdays, which works perfectly with my schedule. The inside of the clinic is very clean, and the doctors are friendly. I came for the waxing, but while waiting, I noticed they also have other programs like collagen treatments, Botox, and acne laser treatments at very reasonable prices. The waiting area is comfortable and nice. Next time, I think I’ll come for a laser treatment. I'm glad I can receive safe treatments at a great price.^^

It’s also convenient because they apply the numbing cream and let me wait on my own bed. Since I have tanned dark skin, the doctor adjusted the intensity to suit my skin tone, so it didn't hurt at all, and I had the laser hair removal done without any trouble. The staff who guided me to the treatment room was friendly, and the doctor was also kind. However, the short-haired staff member sitting at the desk on the left was unfriendly. She was wearing a mask and seemed to be talking to her computer, so I wasn't sure if she was speaking to me, but when I said 'yes?' she responded in an irritated tone, loudly asking if I didn’t have any discomfort after the first treatment. I work in a similar service industry, so I could tell it was an annoyed tone. It really made me feel bad. I don't expect everyone to be overly friendly, but I just wish she would look at the person she's talking to while speaking.

This was my second underarm Laser Hair Removal session, and I was so satisfied because I could already clearly see results after just one session!!!
