This is the clinic where I had my dental implants done a year ago. I was happy that they made sure the procedure didn’t hurt at the time. Since it had been a year, I came in for an implant checkup. During the visit, they also checked my teeth overall for cavities or any other problems. There was nothing wrong with the implants, but they said that one of my cavities had progressed since a year ago, so it would be a good idea to have cavity treatment and dental scaling done as well. Since it wasn’t a deep cavity, I didn’t need an anesthetic injection, and they said they would make sure it didn’t hurt, so I trusted them and went ahead with it. The cavity treatment really didn’t hurt at all, and they did it quickly, which I appreciated. They also performed the scaling quickly and thoroughly. The dentist really doesn’t push unnecessary treatments, provides treatment suited to each situation, explains everything well, and is very kind. The nurses are also incredibly friendly. I highly recommend this clinic.

I was curious about what methods and materials would be used for the surgery, but instead of that kind of explanation, the consultation focused on the cost, which was disappointing. Moreover, the implant cost was 200,000 won, but they said that the part that needed to be filled in the gums would be 500,000 won, which was hard to understand. I thought I would consider it further and tried to get up, but they kept saying that if I came back later, I wouldn’t get a discount, and it was all about the money until the end. They said the X-ray would only cost 9,500 won, but they charged me 29,500 won. Later, after seeing the receipt, I felt upset and ended up writing this review. I wrote this hoping that the Day Implant Dental Clinic would prioritize proper explanations and understanding over money when it comes to treating patients.

I'm writing this honestly. I don't usually like leaving bad reviews, but I wanted to share my thoughts. First, let me start with the implant story. Less than two years after getting the implant, I started feeling pain and had to go back. They told me the implant material was wrong? I was really shocked. I still suspect they didn’t use the promised material and went with something else. Was it zirconium? They used that but later switched to tungsten or something better, and now it’s been over ten years without any major issues. The only problem is that food keeps getting stuck in the implant teeth, which sometimes causes my gums to swell. When my gums hurt, I have to remove the debris with an interdental brush, which is a hassle, so I'm giving a lower rating.

I came in for sleep implant treatment. It's my third sleep implant procedure today. I usually struggle because my veins are hard to find. The anesthesiologist is really great at placing the IV and makes me feel comfortable. They said the implant was tricky because it's close to the nerves, but thankfully it went well. I've been recommending them to a lot of people around me! See you in two weeks.
