It’s also very easy to get to since it’s really close to Cheonho Station. Last time, I tried Korean-made Botox, but I felt like the results didn’t last as long as they did with Xeomin. If you plan to keep getting Botox for a long time, you also need to worry about developing resistance, so I recommend getting German-made Botox. From now on, I’m planning to use German-made, resistance-free Botox too, even though it’s a bit more expensive. I made a reservation and visited. It seemed like the fine lines on my forehead were deepening, and I was concerned about the horizontal wrinkles under my glabella when I woke up in the morning. During the consultation, the doctor mentioned that my eyelids might feel heavy and that it would be better to get botox for my forehead two weeks later, so I decided to proceed with botox for my glabella and nasal bridge. While waiting, I saw two syringes and felt a bit scared, so I asked the doctor when he came in and decided to just get one injection and monitor the results before coming back later. I thought two syringes might be too much for such a small area. Since I’ll be coming back in two weeks anyway, it was okay. (For example, I couldn’t chew things like squid as well as usual.) I started noticing the effects after about 5–7 days, and by around two weeks, my jawline looked noticeably softer. Before, the angle of my jaw stood out clearly in selfies, but now it just tapers down in a more rounded way. With my forehead and frown lines, the wrinkles don’t crease as deeply when I make expressions, so my makeup looks much cleaner. I especially noticed that my foundation settles into the lines much less. It’s been about a month now, and a few people around me have asked if I lost weight. But when I tell them I got Botox, everyone says things like, “It looks really natural—you can’t even tell,” and that’s what I’m happiest about. The downsides were that my chewing strength was slightly weaker at first, and my jaw felt a little awkward when I yawned widely. But after two or three weeks, I had pretty much adjusted. It wasn’t seriously uncomfortable or anything. Overall, I think it’s a good option for people who don’t want an overly dramatic change and just want to refine their facial contours naturally. I was hesitant at first too, but now I understand why people keep getting it regularly.
