You may feel mild pressure for 1–2 days after
regular adjustments, but this is a normal reaction.
Treatment Candidates
When teeth are misaligned or crowded, or when aesthetic
improvement is needed due to crooked or gapped teeth
When the front teeth are severely protruded (protrusive bite)
or you want to improve your profile and reduce lip protrusion
When the upper and lower teeth do not align properly, causing
chewing discomfort or jaw joint stress due to bite imbalance
When teeth are excessively crowded (malocclusion), making
brushing difficult and increasing the risk of cavities or gum disease
When jawline improvement is needed for conditions like protruding
or receding chin, aiming to enhance facial balance and profile
When adolescents need dental and jaw growth management to
guide proper growth direction and prevent future issues
Precautions
For the first 1–3 days after attaching
the appliance, eat mainly soft foods.
If you avoid chewing completely due to
tooth pain, adaptation may be delayed.
→ Chew lightly and evenly on both sides.
Avoid hard and chewy foods (such
as squid, bones, caramel, etc.).
Brush your teeth thoroughly; it is recommended to use
an interdental brush and oral irrigator together.
If the appliance moves or falls off, visit the clinic immediately.
Be sure to keep your regular visit schedule
(every 4–8 weeks) for smooth tooth movement.

I discovered Dandanch Dental Clinic while looking into orthodontics for my child. I felt great after the scaling treatment. Honestly, I was nervous since it was my first time visiting a dental clinic, but the doctor explained my dental condition in detail during the consultation, so I clearly understood which parts were problematic. They accurately pointed out the areas where tartar had accumulated and kindly advised me on my daily care routine. During the scaling, they kept asking if I felt any discomfort, and maybe because the doctor is a professional, it didn’t hurt at all. Once it was done, my teeth felt refreshing, and my mouth felt clean, giving me a great sense of satisfaction. The waiting time was also short, around 10 minutes, compared to regular dental clinics. The prices are reasonable compared to other clinics in Sadang-dong, and the staff is friendly, so I’m considering getting my child’s orthodontic treatment here too.

I visited due to my jaw joint issues, and Dr. Moon Chan-woong was very kind and provided detailed explanations, making it easy for me to ask questions. I also appreciated how another male teacher was attentive enough to guide me to the physical therapy room comfortably. I had a great experience. Thank you!
