I suddenly developed a high fever and experienced extreme pain in my throat, feeling like a knife was lodged there, so I ended up visiting the ENT. I couldn't swallow saliva, let alone drink a sip of water, and I was in a lot of pain. The doctor examined my throat and diagnosed me with severe tonsillitis. He explained that my tonsils were swollen and had white pus in several spots. Along with medication, I received inhalation therapy to soothe my swollen throat. From the next day after starting the medication, my fever began to decrease a little, and after about two days, I could definitely feel that my throat pain had much lessened. I appreciated that the doctor was very thorough in the examination.
