I just had my cervical cancer screening done. I had the same screening at this hospital last time, but since they didn’t do an ultrasound then, they recommended one this year. Thanks to that, we were able to find a small cyst that had developed. It’s small, so they reassured me that it’s not a cause for concern, and they examined my ovaries thoroughly, but fortunately, nothing else was found. I got a shot while I was there… and being someone who really hates shots, I feel like I made a huge fuss about it. But the doctor and the staff were incredibly kind and didn’t show any signs of annoyance, and they gave me good advice during the consultation. During the consultation regarding my Mirena replacement schedule, they told me to wait a bit longer, which stopped me from going ahead with the replacement. I really felt like they only recommended what was truly necessary, without any unnecessary treatments.
