Cheap supermarket toothpaste is okay!
The ingredients in toothpaste mainly include fluoride, abrasives, and surfactants. And to enjoy the effects of these ingredients, it is said that inexpensive toothpaste sold at supermarkets is sufficient, rather than expensive products!
First, the fluoride in toothpaste is also found in the tap water we use every day. Fluoride protects teeth from acids produced by cavity-causing bacteria.
So, you might think that using toothpaste with a higher fluoride content would be better for your teeth. However, that's not the case.
What about non-fluoride and fluoride-free toothpaste?
Some people believe that fluoride is toxic, leading to the development of low-fluoride or fluoride-free toothpaste. However, the fluoride content in toothpaste is said to be a safe amount for human use even over a lifetime. But what if you're still worried about fluoride?
Just use a small amount of toothpaste!
Use an appropriate amount of toothpaste!
Polishing agents and surfactants are included to remove food debris stuck between teeth that are difficult to eliminate with brushing alone and to inhibit tartar formation. However, there is a concern that polishing agents might wear down teeth and that surfactants could be harmful to the body, but these ingredients are present in amounts that are not harmful to the human body, similar to fluoride. If you are still worried, it is recommended to use less toothpaste.
Then, how much toothpaste is good to use?
As shown in the picture above, using only about one-third of a toothbrush is sufficient. Also, squeezing toothpaste onto the toothbrush allows it to seep between the bristles and clean every corner of your teeth. Now, use only a small amount of toothpaste and opt for an affordable product.
