Gasan United Clinic in Geumcheon-gu is popular, but the service is disappointing.

There are really a lot of people. I felt this the first time I visited, but since there are generally many patients every time, you might be a bit surprised if you go expecting a quiet and uncrowded clinic. Even if you make an appointment, it isn't the kind of place where you get seen immediately, so you should expect some waiting time. Of course, you might think that popular places are all similar, but it felt like the waiting line was even longer here, perhaps because so many people visit specifically for Maunzaro or Wigobi prescriptions. I have waited quite a while even though I arrived right on time for my appointment, so I thought it might be a bit burdensome on days when your schedule is tight. Therefore, it is best to visit with plenty of time to spare.
The doctor is generally kind. They explained things when I asked questions, and I didn't feel uncomfortable during the consultation itself. They explained exactly what was necessary, and their attitude toward patients was decent and acceptable. So, looking solely at the consultation, it wasn't bad; in fact, I thought it was quite good. However, the overall impression of a hospital is largely determined by the reception and desk service rather than the consultation room, and honestly, that aspect left much to be desired.
Perhaps because the staff at the front desk were very busy, their service felt quite stiff and unfriendly. I understand that it is hectic due to the large number of people, but there were times when their tone felt somewhat curt when I made inquiries or asked about my turn. Since visiting a hospital is inherently a nerve-wracking experience, I think patients tend to be more sensitive when they sense that kind of atmosphere right from the registration stage. Of course, I am not saying that every staff member is like that at all times, but overall, it was difficult to get a friendly impression. First-time visitors or those with many questions regarding prescriptions would likely want calmer guidance, but that aspect felt lacking.
It seems that more people are flocking here as word gets around that this place is a pilgrimage site for Maunjaro and Wigobi. Since it is mentioned so frequently in related communities and reviews, many people are likely visiting with high expectations; however, personally, my impression was that it is closer to a place with a relatively stable supply of medicine rather than a famous hospital that is incredibly friendly and well-organized. In other words, it feels like people visit not because of its exceptional reputation, but because they can consistently obtain the medicines they need. In fact, there are many stories of people making wasted trips to other places because they were out of stock, but since this place tends to always have stock, that is definitely a definite advantage.
To summarize, the biggest advantage of this clinic is that the stock of Maunzaro and Wigobi is relatively stable. Therefore, it is definitely an advantage for those who need a prescription for these medications. However, it is very crowded, and even with an appointment, there is a high probability of having to wait; it is best to lower your expectations regarding the reception service. The doctor was kind, so the consultation itself was fine, but overall service satisfaction was somewhat lowered due to the receptionist's response. If you visit with high expectations based solely on word of mouth, it might feel more ordinary than expected, but I believe the availability of medication stock is definitely a strong point.
