How is traditional Korean medicine-based dieting carried out?

I usually do a little bit of aerobic exercise and follow a diet for my weight loss. The problem is that even if I keep doing this, I don't lose weight. So I'm considering trying other methods. In the meantime, I became interested in traditional Korean medicine dieting and decided to ask about it. How is traditional Korean medicine dieting done? Do you take herbal medicine and get acupuncture or similar treatments? I'm curious if it's a sustainable diet and if there are any side effects. A friend told me they've seen results. I also want to try it, so I would appreciate advice from those who have experienced it.^^
