My eyes often get bloodshot due to rhinitis. Is there any way to manage this?
I have allergic rhinitis, and lately, perhaps because of the high levels of fine dust now that spring has arrived, my eyes have been very itchy and frequently bloodshot.
I'm used to a stuffy nose, sneezing, and phlegm from rhinitis, but I really can't get used to itchy and red eyes.
Yesterday, my eyes were really itchy and I had a lot of eye discharge.
I think I might have unconsciously touched my eyes without realizing it... and when I looked today, they were immediately bloodshot like this.
It wasn't quite conjunctivitis, so I went to the pharmacy and bought eye drops, but the redness isn't going down quickly even after using them.
It still itches like crazy, as if an eyelash got inside my eye.
I've tried using artificial tears and taking propolis supplements, but I don't really feel like it's getting fundamentally better.
Even if I take medicine, the relief is only temporary. When the seasons change, I always get rhinitis and bloodshot eyes at the same time. What is the best way to manage this?
My quality of life is already low due to rhinitis alone, but it is so uncomfortable because my eyes are itchy and bloodshot as well.
I wonder if it improves along with the rhinitis if I just manage it well.
Or I'm confused if I need to take care of my eyes separately as well.
