I have a persistent runny nose; could it be rhinitis?

Lately, I have had a persistent runny nose and often feel like my nose is stuffy. I don't have a fever or body aches like with a cold, but the symptoms have been continuing for several days. I am confused whether it is just a common cold or the early symptoms of rhinitis, so I am wondering if I should go to the hospital.
