Question) My floaters have become more frequent recently. How should I manage them?
I am very concerned because my floaters seem to be getting worse lately. I used to occasionally see symptoms like gnats floating in front of my eyes, but lately the frequency feels like it has increased, making me worry that there might be a problem with my eye health. I am wondering if this is simply a natural sign of aging or if it requires a medical examination. The symptoms are particularly noticeable in the morning and tend to lessen as the day goes on; I would also like to know if managing my lifestyle habits alone could help in this situation. For reference, I have astigmatism; has anyone visited a doctor for a similar reason? If I visit an ophthalmologist, I would like to know what tests I would undergo and if there are any treatments available for floaters.
