What are the best treatments and management options for frequent lymphadenitis?
Ever since I got lymphadenitis once, I keep getting it again just when I'm about to forget about it.
They say the recurrence rate is high once you get it, and since I got it for the first time, I really get it every year.
At first, the lump was so distinct that I was startled, thinking there was a problem with my thyroid.
I got tested and it turned out to be lymphadenitis.
Since the symptoms of lymphadenitis are similar to a sore throat in the early stages, I often don't recognize it until a lump forms.
So sometimes, early treatment gets missed.
At first, it felt like a cold, but gradually my neck became stiff and painful when I pressed on it. Sometimes, when I gently touch the lump area, I can even feel a sensation of heat. Since I go through this periodically, my body feels even more tired.
I went to the ENT doctor and got a prescription for anti-inflammatory medication and antibiotics, and it subsides after taking them for a few days, but
It feels good only when I take the medicine, but it flares up again after a while, so I don't know what to do about this...
I heard that it occurs easily when your immune system is weak. I also get tonsillitis occasionally, and the ENT doctor told me that it can develop along with tonsillitis if I have inflammation.
